Albuquerque, NM – Serious Injury Collision at Central Ave & Texas St

Albuquerque, NM (August 28, 2024) – On Tuesday, August 27, there were reported injuries resulting from a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The collision took place that night, around 10:08 p.m., at the corner of Central Avenue NE and Texas Street NE. The injured parties were treated at the scene by attending medical personnel. 

There were reported injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the related damages have not been determined. The crash victims were later transferred to local hospitals for additional treatment. No updates on the conditions of the crash victims have been provided. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the crash site and reopen the road to outside traffic. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident.
