New Mexico High-Speed Crashes
A high-speed crash can be caused by a number of different situations. Perhaps you are stopped at a stop sign when a moving car rear-ends you, or a reckless motorist could cut you off while driving quickly and send you rolling. In our state, speed-related incidents resulted in more than 150 fatalities in 2019, and some counties are more likely than others to experience a high-speed collision. A total of 36 of these fatalities were reportedly recorded in Bernalillo County that year. If a speeding driver is proven to be at fault for a collision, they may be held accountable for any resulting damages.
