Albuquerque, NM – Traffic Wreck Ends in Injuries on Lomas Blvd near 8th St

Albuquerque, NM (July 16, 2023) – In the early morning hours of Sunday, July 16, a serious car crash occurred in Albuquerque that required an emergency response. Police and EMTs went to the wreck site shortly after it happened at around 5:00 a.m. 

One or more individuals suffered injuries in the accident that occurred in the 8000 block of Lomas Boulevard. Two or more vehicles collided under circumstances that are currently unclear. 

Authorities worked at the scene in an effort to investigate while paramedics helped those involved. Injured parties were treated and taken to local hospitals as needed. 

Fire crews cleared the debris from the roadway and asked local drivers to use alternate routes while the scene was occupied by responders. 

Police are still investigating. We hope for the full recovery of the injured victims.
