Albuquerque, NM - Traffic Collision Ends in Injuries on Griegos Rd near 5th St NW

Albuquerque, NM (July 16, 2023) - Emergency responders in Albuquerque were dispatched to the scene of a car crash on Griegos Road North West on the morning of July 16. Shortly before 7:00 a.m., on Sunday, the wreck was reported to officials in the area, who promptly went to the scene. 

Sources say the incident occurred on Griegos Road Near 5th Street Northwest when two or more vehicles collided. What caused the crash to occur is still under local law enforcement investigation at this time. 

Several responders were seen rendering aid at the wreck site; however, the extent of the injuries suffered in the collision remains unknown. The roadway was closed while crews worked to help the injured victims. 

At this time, police in Albuquerque are still investigating the circumstances of the crash.
