Albuquerque, NM – Wreck at Nakomis Dr & Lomas Blvd Ends in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (September 5, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries following a car accident in Albuquerque early on Thursday, September 5. That morning, around 7:53 a.m., the collision was first reported at the corner of Nakomis Drive NE and Lomas Boulevard NE. 

At least one person involved in the crash was reportedly injured. At this time, the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed. Emergency crews were present to provide aid to the injured parties. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were dispatched to clear the scene and to reopen the roadway to outside traffic. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision.
