Algodones, NM – Several Hurt in Pileup Crash on I-25

Algodones, NM (June 20, 2024) – There were multiple injuries reported in a multi-vehicle accident in the Algodones area on Wednesday, June 19. The incident was reported on Interstate 25 NB near mile marker 254. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. 

It was later revealed that 23 vehicles collided at the scene. The circumstances leading to the incident have not been determined. The involved parties were treated at the scene, and those requiring further aid were later transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. According to official records, a total of 18 people were hurt in the collision. The area was closed for several hours while local authorities were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the wreckage and other debris.
