Belen, NM - Brittny Ramos, Manuel Medrano Killed in Crash on I-25

Belen, NM (April 12, 2023) - Two El Paso residents were killed following a single-vehicle accident outside of Belen on Saturday, April 8. 

The fatal crash took place on Interstate 25 near mile marker 183 at around 2 a.m. It was reported that a 2018 four-door Chevrolet traveling on the highway left the road for unknown reasons and crashed. Two occupants in the vehicle sustained fatal injuries in the accident. 

The deceased parties were later identified as 21-year-old Brittny Ramos and 65-year-old Manuel Medrano, both of El Paso. They were declared dead at the scene. The driver and a 5-year-old passenger were transported to a hospital for treatment. No updates on their conditions have been provided. 

An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is in progress.
