Hagerman, NM - Injuries in Pileup Collision at US-285 & Sagebrush Valley Rd

Hagerman, NM (December 20, 2023) - On Tuesday night, December 19, there were confirmed injuries after a car crash in the Hagerman area. The accident occurred on US-285 near Sagebrush Valley Road at around 5:30 p.m. An initial crash reportedly involved two vehicles at the scene, and other vehicles did not slow down for emergency lights and caused another crash with injuries. 

A total of five vehicles were involved in the accident, and ambulances and emergency crews were dispatched to render aid and transport the victims to local hospitals for treatment. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
