La Bajada, NM - Car Crash Ends in Injuries on I-25 near NM-16

La Bajada, NM (June 17, 2023) - Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a car crash in La Bajada on the morning of June 13 after receiving reports of a serious car accident that occurred. 

The incident took place at around 9:30 a.m. on Interstate 25 near New Mexico Route 16. Vehicles crashed and injured at least one person. 

The cause of the collision is being investigated by police in the area. One or more victims were treated and transported to the hospital by ambulance, sources say. 

The roadway was blocked while emergency responders worked to secure the area, resulting in delays in traffic that lasted for some time. 

Police in La Bajada continue to investigate. We hope for the full and fast recovery of the injured victims.
