Las Cruces, NM – Injuries in Auto Accident on I-25
Las Cruces, NM (July 25, 2025) – On Thursday, July 24, at least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident in the Las Cruces area. That afternoon at around 2:42 p.m., the accident was first reported on Interstate 25 SB near mile marker 0. The injured parties were treated by attending paramedics before being transferred to local hospitals for further aid.
The severity and number of the resulting injuries were not provided in the initial reports. The roadway was closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later needed to remove the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. The circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be released as the investigation continues.
