Montgomery, NM – Injuries in Auto Accident on I-25

Montgomery, NM (July 29, 2025) – On Sunday, July 27, at least one person sustained injuries after an auto accident in the Montgomery area. Late that night at around 10:08 p.m., the crash was first reported on Interstate 25 near mile marker 288. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene to aid the involved parties. 

Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals. The severity and number of the related damages have not yet been determined. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were dispatched to clear the debris and reopen the roadway. The circumstances leading to the crash have not been determined. However, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
