S Vly, NM – Semi-Truck Injury Crash at Broadway Blvd & El Rey Rd

South Valley, NM (July 14, 2025) – On Friday, July 11, there were reported injuries following a crash in the South Valley area. The collision took place that afternoon at around 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Broadway Boulevard SE and El Rey Road SE. Local reports revealed that a semi-truck was involved in the crash. 

At this time, the circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. Fluid leaking from the truck resulted in the closure of Rio Bravo Boulevard SE and Prosperity Avenue SE. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the resulting damages were not provided in the initial reports. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities were present. No further information on the crash is currently available.
