Santa Rosa, NM – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-40
Santa Rosa, NM (January 9, 2024) – At least one person was killed following a pileup car accident in the Santa Rosa area on Monday, January 8. The deadly collision was reported on Interstate 40 near mile marker 291. Three or more vehicles reportedly collided at the scene, and emergency responders were dispatched to render the necessary medical aid.
At least one person suffered fatal injuries in the impact, and several other people were hurt. At this time, no updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were sent to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic.
