South Valley, NM – Critical Injuries in Pileup Crash at Rio Bravo & Broadway Blvd

South Valley, NM (February 15, 2024) – A multi-vehicle collision in the South Valley area resulted in confirmed injuries on Wednesday night, February 14. The accident was reported at the corner of Rio Bravo Boulevard and Broadway Boulevard at around 6 p.m. Three or more vehicles were involved in the crash, and emergency crews were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. 

At least one person involved in the crash had to be extricated by responding officials. That party was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The area was temporarily closed to outside traffic while emergency crews were present. 

Tow trucks were dispatched to clear the resulting debris and reopen the roadway. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
