Albuquerque, NM – Injury Accident Reported on I-40.

Albuquerque, NM (October 28, 2023) – Officers with the Albuquerque Police Department confirmed that an automobile accident took place on Friday in Bernalillo County.

The police and the Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to the scene at approximately 4:00 p.m. on October 27. Emergency crews remained at the scene for over an hour and a half as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the westbound side of Interstate 40.

Medical personnel responded to the scene to provide care to the injured victims and transport them to local hospitals.

The Albuquerque Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
