Santa Teresa, NM - Fatal ATV Crash at Pete Dominici Hwy & McNutt Rd

Santa Teresa, NM (August 4, 2024) - On Saturday, August 3, there were fatal injuries after a collision in the Santa Teresa area. The crash took place at the intersection of Pete Dominici Highway and McNutt Road early that morning around 7:35 a.m. Local reports revealed that a passenger car and an all-terrain vehicle collided at the scene. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Local reports revealed that one person involved suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. Another victim was hurt and provided aid at the scene. Ambulances were available to transport the involved parties to a local hospital for additional support. The area was temporarily closed while local authorities were present. The circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
