Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Wreck on NM 217 at Juan Tomas Rd

Albuquerque, NM (August 24, 2024) – Emergency responders in Albuquerque were dispatched to the scene of a car crash on New Mexico Route 217 at around 10:51 p.m. on August 21. Police reported an unspecified number of vehicles had collided near Juan Tomas Road.

What caused the incident to occur is still being investigated by area authorities. Northbound Traffic on NM 217 was diverted southbound for a few hours while crews worked in the area. Police asked drivers to avoid the area while they were present on the road. Paramedics helped wounded parties and transported them to a local hospital as necessary. The identities of those involved have not been reported at this time.
