Santa Fe, NM - One Killed in Head-on Crash on I-25 at MM 275

Santa Fe, NM (September 3, 2024) - There were fatal injuries after a head-on crash in the Santa Fe area on Monday, September 2. The deadly crash was reported on Interstate 25 near mile marker 275 early that morning around 1 a.m. Two vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. One of the drivers, later identified as 25-year-old Albert Titla of Santa Fe, suffered fatal injuries in the impact and was later pronounced dead. The other driver was rushed to a local hospital by ambulance for the treatment of sustained injuries. The area was temporarily closed for several hours while emergency crews were present. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
