Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Crash at Charleston St & Central Ave

Albuquerque, NM (October 5, 2024) – On Saturday, October 5, at least one person was hurt following a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash happened at the corner of Charleston Street NE and Central Avenue NE that morning around 1:49 a.m. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to aid to the involved parties. 

There were reported injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The injured parties were provided aid at the scene by attending medical personnel. Ambulances were available to transport the involved parties to a local hospital for further treatment. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site and reopen the area to outside traffic. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident.
