Albuquerque, NM - Car Wreck with Injuries at I-25 & Sunport Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (February 18, 2025) - A serious car accident in Albuquerque required the support of local emergency units on Sunday, February 16. The incident was first reported that morning late that night at around 6:46 p.m. on  Interstate 25 NB near Sunport Boulevard SE. There were reported injuries at the scene, and paramedics were quickly dispatched to render necessary medical aid. 

Ambulances were also sighted to transport the involved parties to neighboring hospitals. At this time, the extent of the related damages has not been confirmed. The area was closed for several hours while local authorities worked the scene, and tow trucks were needing to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. Local authorities are handling the ongoing crash investigation, and additional information will be supplied as the investigation continues.
