Albuquerque, NM – 3rd St & Granite Ave Crash Ends in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (May 23, 2024) – At least one person suffered injuries in the aftermath of a serious car wreck in Albuquerque on Thursday, May 23. That afternoon around 1:48 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at the crossing of 3rd Street NW and Granite Avenue NW. The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. 

The injured parties were treated at the scene before being transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. At this time, the circumstances leading to the collision have not been provided. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews worked the scene. Tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. No additional updates on the accident are currently available. Local law enforcement officials are in charge of the ongoing accident investigation.
