Albuquerque, NM – Accident with Injuries Reported on University Blvd NE

Albuquerque, NM (February 10, 2024) – On Friday, emergency officials in Albuquerque were called to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in which at least one person was injured. The incident was reported to the police department at approximately 6:10 p.m. on February 9.

According to area law enforcement, vehicles collided on University Boulevard Northeast. The incident caused some disruptions in the area north of the University of New Mexico. Police and firefighters remained at the scene for nearly 40 minutes while clearing the involved vehicles from the roadway. Medical personnel responded to treat the injured victims. An unknown number of victims were transported to area hospitals for further medical care. At this time, the Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the accident.
