New Mexico Distracted Driving Crashes
Distracted driving is quickly becoming one of the leading contributors to serious car accidents in the United States. One of the most notable examples of this is texting while driving, but it can also involve more innocent actions, including messing with the radio dial or talking with a passenger. Each year, more than 3,000 people in the United States are killed by distracted drivers. In 2019 alone, more than 424,000 people were hurt by distracted drivers across the country.
Every car crash case is unique, and your circumstances are not the same as another victim’s. This means that you may incur damages that are unique to your accident. It can be difficult to accurately determine which damages are available in your case. A trained lawyer can help assign a value to your case in order to make sure you get the full value of your claim. This is just one of the many ways that a lawyer can be crucial to your recovery. You want to do everything possible to maximize your recovery, and that often means working closely with a trained lawyer who has experience handling successful injury claims in the past.
There is too much on the line to leave your claim to chance. The more severe your injuries, the more likely that the insurance provider will contest or attempt to deny your claim. If you are not able to get the most out of your case, it can leave you in a very difficult place as you deal with mounting debt and other expenses.
There are many reasons you should contact a trained lawyer after a serious car accident. The legal team at Will Ferguson & Associates has handled countless cases and helped many past clients pursue successful personal injury claims.
