Albuquerque, NM – At Least One Hurt in Collision at Wyoming Blvd & I-40

Albuquerque, NM (July 18, 2024) – There were reported injuries in the aftermath of a car crash in the Albuquerque area on Thursday, July 18. Early that morning, around 6:22 a.m., the collision was first reported at the corner of Wyoming Boulevard NE and the Interstate 40 EB off-ramp. The injured parties were provided aid by attending medical personnel before being transferred to a nearby hospital for additional treatment. 

At this time, the circumstances leading to the accident have not been determined. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were later sent to clear the resulting debris and reopen the roadway. No additional information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local authorities, and more information will be released as it continues.
