Albuquerque, NM – At Least One Hurt in Wreck at Candelaria Rd & San Mateo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (January 25, 2025) – A serious auto accident in the Albuquerque area on Friday, January 24, required support from local paramedics. The incident occurred that evening around 9:34 p.m. at the corner of Candelaria Road NE and San Mateo Boulevard NE. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and the injured parties were provided immediate aid by attending medical personnel. 

The vehicles involved sustained significant damage in the impact, and the area was temporarily closed as emergency units were present. The injured parties were aided before being transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. No further information has been provided at this time.
