Albuquerque, NM – At Least One Hurt in Wreck at I-40 & Coors Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (September 29, 2024) – On Sunday, September 29, there were serious injuries reported in the aftermath of a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash occurred on Interstate 40 WB near Coors Boulevard NW early that morning around 8:05 a.m. At least one person involved in the collision was injured. 

At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel before being transferred to a local hospital by ambulance for additional support. The area was temporarily closed while local authorities worked to clear the scene. Tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris in order to reopen the area to outside traffic. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
