Albuquerque, NM – At Least One Injured in Wreck at I-40 & Washington St

Albuquerque, NM (December 10, 2024) – A serious auto accident in the Albuquerque area required support from local paramedics on Monday, December 9. The accident occurred on Interstate 40 EB near Washington Street NE that night around 6:04 p.m. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, and emergency responders were sent to render the necessary aid. 

At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The crash victims were treated by attending medical personnel, and those requiring further treatment were later transported to local hospitals for further treatment. No updates on the conditions of the crash victims have been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
