Albuquerque, NM - At Least One Person Hurt in Crash at Louisiana Blvd & Mountain Rd

Albuquerque, NM (August 10, 2023) -  At least one person sustained injuries following a car crash on Wednesday afternoon, August 9, in the Albuquerque area. 

Near the time of 2:16 p.m., the accident was first reported at the crossing of Louisiana Boulevard NE and Mountain Road NE. Paramedics were present to render aid to the injured parties. Those requiring additional aid were later transported to local hospitals by ambulance. 

At this time, the circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. The area was closed for several hours, and tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the resulting wreckage. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
