Albuquerque, NM – Auto Collision Ends in Injuries on I-25 near Lead Ave

Albuquerque, NM (April 1, 2023) – At approximately 11:55 a.m. on March 31, emergency responders were sent to the scene of a car crash in Albuquerque with injuries. Sources say the wreck occurred on I-25 for reasons still under police investigation. 

At least one person was injured in the collision, however, the extent of those injuries remains unclear at this time. Reports concerning the incident show it occurred on Interstate 25 near Lead Avenue. 

Multiple emergency crews were observed at the crash scene for an extended period of time after the crash happened, resulting in significant delays in traffic. Local drivers were forced to find different routes of travel for the majority of the early afternoon on March 31. 

Police in Albuquerque continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
