Albuquerque, NM (April 7, 2024) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon in the Albuquerque area. Calls for help came in at around 2:40 p.m. on April 6.

Reports from Albuquerque Fire Rescue indicate that vehicles collided on Osuna Road Northeast. Authorities responded to the scene and closed off the Academy Acres North neighborhood roadway. Emergency officials worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene as medical personnel tended to those harmed. At least one of the people involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital, where they underwent further care for the injuries they suffered. The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the accident.
