Albuquerque, NM – Car Accident with Injuries at 6th St & I-40

Albuquerque, NM (July 18, 2024) – On Thursday, July 18, injuries were reported after a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash was reported early that morning, around 7:28 a.m.

on 6th Street NW near the Interstate 40 WB off-ramp. The injured parties were provided aid by attending medical personnel before being transferred to a local hospital for further treatment. 

At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The vehicles involved in the crash sustained significant damage, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the roadway. No additional information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress, and more updates will be released as it continues.
