Albuquerque, NM - Car Accident with Injuries at I-25 & Montano Rd

Albuquerque, NM (January 16, 2025) - At least one person was hurt following a car crash in the Albuquerque area on Tuesday, January 14. The collision took place on Interstate 25 SB near Montano Road NE that evening around 9:24 p.m. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the extent and number of the related damages have not been determined. 

The crash victims were provided aid at the scene by attending medical personnel. Those requiring additional treatment were later transferred to local hospitals for further treatment. The circumstances leading to the crash have not been disclosed at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
