Albuquerque, NM - At Least One Hurt in Car Crash on I-40 near Carlisle

Albuquerque, NM (April 30, 2023) - Shortly before 6:00 p.m. on the evening of April 28, a serious car crash happened in Albuquerque that required an emergency dispatch. Crews were sent to the scene shortly after the crash occurred so they could help those involved. 

Reports show the incident took place on Interstate 40 near Carlisle Boulevard. How and why the accident occurred has not been reported at this time. 

At least one individual was in need of emergency treatment at the crash scene. Paramedics helped those with injuries and transported them to local hospitals as necessary.

Traffic was stopped back to Louisiana Boulevard while emergency responders worked in the area.  Police directed traffic away from the scene, resulting in significant delays.
