Albuquerque, NM – Car Crash Reported on I-25 near Comanche Rd NE

Albuquerque, NM (January 13, 2024) – On the evening of January 12, emergency officials across Bernalillo County were called to the scene of a car crash that took place in Albuquerque. Calls for help were received at approximately 6:15 p.m.

According to reports provided by the Albuquerque Police Department, the northbound side of Interstate 25 was blocked as a result of an automobile accident. The incident prompted officials to respond to the scene and close off multiple lanes near Comanche Road Northeast. Emergency officials remained at the scene extensively while working to clear the road. Medical personnel responded to the crash site to care for the victims and to transfer those in need of further medical care to local hospitals. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
