Albuquerque, NM (September 4, 2023) - On Monday, September 4, at least one person was injured following a car accident in the Albuquerque area.
The crash took place early that morning at around 12:32 a.m. at the 224 block of Atrisco Vista Boulevard SW. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of resulting injuries have not been determined. The injured parties were later hospitalized after being treated at the scene by attending medical personnel.
The roadway was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the site of resulting debris and reopen the roadway.
No further information has been provided at this time.
Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
