Albuquerque, NM – Car Crash with Injuries on I-40 near 12th St NW

Albuquerque, NM (May 19, 2024) – Just before 11:00 p.m. on May 18, emergency crews were summoned to assist at the scene of an automobile accident in the Albuquerque area.

According to law enforcement reports, an automobile collision blocked multiple lanes of the westbound side of Interstate 40. The incident caused delays in 12 Street Northwest in the Near North Valley neighborhood. Emergency crews remained at the scene while working to clear the road. At least one tow truck was requested on-site to remove the involved vehicles. Paramedics were summoned to care for the injured victims. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
