Albuquerque, NM - Crash Ends in Injuries at Garfield Ave & Girard Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (August 3, 2024) - A serious collision in Albuquerque required support from emergency crews on Friday, August 2. The accident was reported that night around 11:39 p.m. at the corner of Garfield Avenue SE and Girard Boulevard SE. Initial reports indicated that at least one person was injured, and paramedics were on-site to render aid to the involved parties. 

Ambulances were nearby to transport the crash victims to nearby hospitals for additional treatment. The roadway was closed until tow trucks could clear the scene of any resulting debris. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and other debris in order to reopen the road to outside traffic.
