Albuquerque, NM - Dominic Valencia Hurt in Pedestrian Crash at I-40 & Eubank Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (July 12, 2023) - A man was hurt after being hit by a motor vehicle on Interstate 40 in Albuquerque on Tuesday, July 11. 

The accident occurred on I-40 near Eubank Boulevard at around 4:45 p.m. It was later revealed that 18-year-old Dominic Valencia was traveling on foot when he was struck by an oncoming SUV. The victim was transported to a hospital where he was treated for broken bones and other injuries. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
