Albuquerque, NM – Fatal Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Crash at Menaul Blvd & San Pedro Dr

Albuquerque, NM (August 19, 2025) – A deadly hit-and-run crash late Monday night, August 18, claimed the life of a woman and left another person injured in Albuquerque. The collision happened around 11:00 p.m. near the intersection of Menaul Boulevard and San Pedro Drive.

According to the Albuquerque Police Department, both a motorcycle and a truck were traveling east on Menaul when the crash occurred. Investigators said the truck merged into another lane and struck the motorcycle, running over the bike and its two riders. The driver of the truck then fled the scene, continuing south on San Pedro Drive.

Emergency crews rushed the motorcyclist and passenger to a nearby hospital. Tragically, the passenger died from her injuries. The driver of the motorcycle remains hospitalized.
