Albuquerque, NM – Fatal Injuries in Collision at Shelly Dr & Frontage Rd

Albuquerque, NM (August 28, 2023) – One person was killed in the aftermath of a car accident in Albuquerque on Sunday, August 27. 

The deadly accident was first reported at the corner of Shelly Drive SW and S. Frontage Road at around 7 p.m. When emergency crews arrived, one person was found with critical injuries. The victim suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene. 

The roadway was temporarily closed while paramedics were present. The identity of the deceased party has been withheld. It is unknown how many other people were involved in the deadly accident. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal crash is in progress. More information will be provided as it progresses.
