Albuquerque, NM (December 30, 2023) – The Albuquerque Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene of an automobile accident that took place north of the La Mesa neighborhood and ended in injuries.
Calls for help came in at around 5:25 p.m. on December 29. According to reports provided by authorities, a collision between vehicles occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 40. The incident prompted authorities to close down the roadway for approximately 40 minutes as they worked to remove the involved vehicles. The crash is currently under investigation.
