Albuquerque, NM – I-40 & Atrisco Vista Blvd Injury Collision

Albuquerque, NM (October 28, 2024) – At least one person was hurt in the aftermath of a vehicle collision that took place in Albuquerque on Monday, October 28. Emergency crews were sent to the scene of the crash on Interstate 40 WB near Atrisco Vista Boulevard NW that morning around 9:24 a.m. The injured parties were provided aid by attending paramedics before being transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. 

At this time, the extent of the resulting injuries has not been determined, and the number of people involved in the crash is still unknown. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the roadway. No additional information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
