Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Car Accident at Girard & Gibson Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (August 17, 2024) – On Saturday, August 17, there were confirmed injuries after a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The collision occurred early that morning around 7:44 a.m. at the intersection of Gibson Boulevard SE and Girard Boulevard SE. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to render aid to the injured parties. 

At this time, the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The injured parties were provided immediate medical aid by attending paramedics. Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals. The circumstances leading to the crash have not been provided. The area was temporarily closed until tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
