Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Car Accident on Las Animas Ave

Albuquerque, NM (June 13, 2024) – On Wednesday, June 12, there were confirmed injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash occurred at the 6701 block of Las Animas Avenue NE late that night around 11:39 p.m. At least one person involved in the collision was hurt. 

Currently, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. Emergency crews were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. Those requiring further treatment were later transferred to nearby hospitals for further treatment. The area was temporarily closed until tow trucks could remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
