Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Semi-Truck Accident on I-25

Albuquerque, NM (June 18, 2025) – There were reported injuries after a crash involving two large trucks outside of Albuquerque on Monday, June 16. The incident took place on Interstate 25 SB that afternoon at around 2 p.m. A fuel tanker-truck and another commercial vehicle reportedly collided at the scene. 

All southbound lanes were closed as a result of the crash. Emergency crews were present to provide aid to the involved parties. Those needing further support were later transported to local hospitals by ambulance. No further information on the collision is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
