Albuquerque, NM - Injuries Result from Car Crash on Tramway Blvd at Copper Ave

Albuquerque, NM (May 27, 2023) - A serious car accident happened in Albuquerque on the morning of May 25. Shortly after 9:00 a.m., emergency responders were seen at the crash site on Tramway Boulevard. 

Police say the collision took place on Tramway Boulevard at the intersection with Copper Avenue. One or more people suffered injuries in the wreck, however, the nature and severity of those injuries have not been reported at this time. 

EMTs helped seriously injured patients and took them to the hospital as needed. Currently, police continue to investigate the details of the incident. 

Delays in traffic were observed at the crash site for an extended time period on the morning of May 25. Local motorists were forced to find alternative travel routes while emergency crews worked in the area.
