Torrance, NM - Injuries Follow Car Wreck on I-40 near Encinosa Rd

Torrance, NM (May 27, 2023) - Emergency responders were seen on an interstate in Torrance on Tuesday afternoon, May 23, responding to the scene of an auto collision with injuries. 

At around 1:45 p.m., crews were sent to the crash site on Interstate 40 near Encinosa Road/exit 239. One or more people suffered injuries in the collision that happened for reasons still under local law enforcement investigation. 

Injuries resulted from the crash, and paramedics rendered aid at the scene. The roadway was blocked for some time while crews worked in the area.
