Albuquerque, NM (April 14, 2024) – An unknown number of people were transported to area hospitals following a motor vehicle accident that occurred early Sunday morning, April 14.
At around 3:40 a.m., the Albuquerque Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene of an accident on Rainwater Road Southwest. According to official reports, vehicles collided in the 7300 block of the roadway. The incident prompted officials to remain at the scene for more than a half hour as they worked to clear the roadway and reopen it. Emergency medical services were called to the scene of the accident to care for the injured victims. An unknown number of people were transported to area hospitals for further care following the crash. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.
