Albuquerque, NM (December 22, 2023) - On Friday, December 22, at least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. At around 3:09 a.m., the accident was first reported at the crossing of Avenida Cesar Chavez SW and Commercial Street SE. The injured parties were treated by attending paramedics before being transferred to local hospitals for further aid. 

The roadway was closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were later needed to remove the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. The circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined.
