Albuquerque, NM – Injury Collision at I-25 & Montano Rd

Albuquerque, NM (September 12, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries following a car accident in Albuquerque early on Thursday, September 12. That morning, at around 11:52 a.m., the collision was first reported on Interstate 25 SB near Montano Road NE. At least one person involved in the crash was reportedly injured. 

The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed at this time. Emergency crews were present to provide aid to the injured parties. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were dispatched to clear the scene and to reopen the roadway to outside traffic. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision.
